Not an exciting topic but i got off the bus at about 10 last night on ecclesall road and could hear and see fireworks coming from town, and cheering loud enough to reach my delicate ears near ecclesall road south.

This has been bugging me all day as to why, I was just wondering if some one could shed some light on it.

I live up that way and hear fireworks etc etc frequently throughout the year - just always thought that Sheffield people liked to celebrate and have firework parties....

Take a trip to Netheredge and enjoy the almost nightly fireworks there!
