Could anyone advise the IT job market in Sheffield. I'm an Oracle DBA & might be moving there in a couple of months, due to husband moving there.

I know a few DBA's, all in permie or long term contracts, but if it is mirroring java contracting (which it probably is) then you might have to look at Leeds to find some work. Search the job websites, jobsite.co.ok, jobserve.co.uk, cwjobs.co.uk, those are the main ones I use. I hadn't considered Leeds, as I was concerned about the commute.
