as the title says we are wanting a puppy to be part of the family it would be well looked after and took on regular walks and there will always be somebody in the house with it i have been thinking about it for a while now so im not just jumping straight in to it
Thanks in advance

Have you thought about what size/type of dog you'd like?
Are you wanting to do any extra activities with the dog when it's old enough? As this may affect the type of dog you'd like to go for?
Also - does it have to be a puppy? Remember if you have young kids puppies have sharp teeth and they use them to explore, which includes exploring family members!
There are lots and lots of lovely slightly older dogs in the rescues at the moment and you may find one that suits your family perfectly (depending on rescue rules about kids ages if you have kids).

Hi,
I agree with Lotti.
Try the rescue's and talk to the people that work there about what you are looking for.
They don't always have information on the dogs that they have up for adoption but sometimes they do.
I'd alwys try the rescue route first and if you are looking for a particular breed try the rescue that specializes in that breed.
Good Luck.
