Can someone please help ??
our little pooch is 6 months old and needs re-homing, hes a lurcher cross and has been vaccinated and wormed. Hes good with kids, medium in size and needs plenty of exercise...a lively little thing. Hes housetrained and loves going out in the car. Hes usually left in the house for 6 hours a day while im working.
We need to re-home him as my OH will start working abroad as of next month and i just wont have the time, you know the thing the kids want him but dont want to help.

Rather than go straight to the rehomeing route have you considered a dog walker to help relieve some of the pressure on you????

With rehomeing centres full to bursting i just thought this might be something that could help????

your first point of contact in these situations should always be the breeder or rescue centre where you first obtained your dog

most of the time there is a covenant or contract in place requiring you to do so

If you fill in the rehoming template that is at the top of the group and post it onto this thread that would be helpful, it just contains lots of information that potential adopters may like to know.

It would be nice to know what cross your dog is? and colour, do you have any pics of him? it all helps.

Also join Lurcher link (http://www.lurcher.org/llink/forum/viewforum.php?f=14&sid=bb741abc26c5771c4690bb9a2b925500) and advertise your dog there, you will get lots of people who are specifically looking for a dog such as yours.
