i had work men in the other day and they switched of ellecy without notice. Now when my PC boots into windows XP i get log on Administrator screen rather then going into windows as it's always done.

Steps i've taken,

Gone into use account and selected no log on but still happens

I'm the ONLY user so it shouldn't do this :mad:

In the control panel > user accounts, select 'change the way users log on and off'. That should be on the "use welcome screen", is it?

both should be ticked so as not to show the login screen plus make sure another account asnt been created cant see how a power out would cause this

Yeh no idea myself how it happen :huh: I was using PC and power went and council guy shouts" oh Sh*t ". Then after he puts the trip switch back on the user welcome screen then started to appear :huh:
