I recieved a letter last week from the Town Hall, about a disability fair at the Town Hall in Sheffield on Friday the 5th of September, apparently it's going to be all about living with a disability, how to get help with stuff like benefits, housing, jobs etc.

I will probably be going, would anyone else be interested? It will be on from 10.30 AM to 2 PM iirc.

But isnt that a learning disability event Rich.why have they invited you.I thought that you had AS?
I was wondering if i should go but it states learning disability so I am not sure it would be productive.

I do have AS.

But the clueless morons at the Council clearly think it's a learning disability... :loopy:

Oh well, it'll kill an hour in Town if I attend.

The autism alliance will be there and we will be trying to get some signatures for yet another petition so please lend us your support if you work in town

Where do you think the 'clueless morons' got your name from? Wouldn't it be better in this instance to tell them that you don't have a learning disability, so they don't send you inappropriate invitations/information in the future.
