i got tickets to go to the final on sunday 1st may, but i'm not sure if i can make it cos i'm going out afterwards and can't afford to leave too late!

i know you can never say how long sessions go on for (especially if ebdon's playing :roll: ) but has anyone any idea what time the evening session might finish on sunday?

I wouldn't bank on it finishing before last orders, especially if Ebdon is in the final. When I went a couple of years ago, I think we got out at about half 11.

yeah, that's what i was thinking.. if it starts at 20:00, taking into account intervals and ebdon's patented delay-o-vision™ it may well go on past 11:00..

reckon i might have to sell my ticket as i don't want to risk being late for this gig afterwards :(

I shouldn't panic too much. That one did go to the black ball in the final frame. It's the only one I can ever remember that has.

you could always go along and sneak out quietly when you need to leave for your gig (its what i did last saturday during the davis-holt match)

Yes, it always finishes on the Bank Holiday Monday. Depending on the score it could finish with a session to spare.
