Is anyone else havng trouble with the chat thing on Facebook? Ive been trying for weeks to get it to work but all I get is an exclamation mark in a warning triangle and the message "Unable to connect to chat at this time."

How the HELL can I torment people if the damn thing wont work properly????

Can't say I have used it for a while Jabbers.

God there are soooo many baby pics on FB, all my friends having kids and getting married. They are mad!!! I can't look! :P

Mine doesn't work either. Or it will work for five minutes and then go back to the triangle again :rolleyes:

Its getting annoying now, I was told recently too that Im invisible to everybody on there, even when Im online they cant see me.

Its never worked properly for me, apart from about three times which is annoying because it makes a good alternative to the MSN thing which I rarely use.

I hate the MSN thing because there are hundreds of people on there who I havent spoken to for ages, and when I DO go online I get mobbed by them all asking for an update on what Ive been up to for the past five years or whatever and I spend all my time explaining to them all in their seperate little boxes.

A new and extremely amusing development from Facebook! Now not only do we have viruses to contend with, theres a lovely little surprise when you "X" Facebook away.

It reappears and the "About blank" page appears, again and again and again and... You "X" those away and you get the Programme not responding warning up and the About blank pages appear and appear and... You hit CTRL ALT and DEL to try to end it all from there and it says Not responding!

Eventually you have the immense pleasure of being able to shut down the comp from the mains because nothing else works!

I love doing that! I really really do!!!!

YEs I am on it and I think its great. I lost contact with alot of old great school friends due to things that was behond my control. Now we are all back in contact again and planning a little reunion thing. I love facebook!!

I think it's great because you get to see everybodys holiday pictures etc, I love seeing what my friends have been up too!

I use facebook and it's great for keeping in touch. It's just a shame that aquaintances from the past can find you too! (ok, maybe not all of them are bad ;) )

I agree this is the only problem with facebook people who you do not want to find you actually do!!

What about the online list thing and the chat thing... does that work ok for you? Can people see you online?

i dont know i dont go on to chat to anyone so i dont know if it works never tried it. but the other things seem to work fine.everything i click on seems to work, sometimes i have had problems when trying to get some of the things on and its told me its not working at the moment and have to try later
