Where's Tabasco? The sauce I mean, not the place, in your survey, I have it with everything, including chrisps.

I am with Jon there [do we ever disagree, old bean?] re Mayo. It is such an essential and versatile thing to have. I also like West Indian Hot Pepper sauce, Henderson's, Mint, Raita [for Indian food], and HP for Bacon and Sausage.

same here, didn't vote cos like most of 'em but no preference, it depends on what I'm eating as to which sauce if any I'll put on.
Mind you love fishfinger butties with Chop sauce

Alas it must be the colour of the blood running through our veins. Mayo is so great because one can add to it; garlic puree, lemon, lime, tabasco, curry powder.... the sky's the limit!

A bacon sandwich isn't a bacon sandwich without squashy white bread and HP sauce.

Are you mad? :P Salad cream and cold pizza.... Mmm mmm :D

That said, I'd sooner have slivers of bamboo inserted under my fingernails than eat anything with brown sauce on it :gag:

Just another thought - does anyone remember that special edition green tomato ketchup Heinz brought out? :gag: That was just wrong - table sauces should not glow in the dark :o :suspect: :P

Why is mayo there, but not salad cream? Mayo is like a disgusting thick buttery version of salad cream! Mayo is disgusting, salad cream, 'lish!

Also, I'm sure mayo doesn't class as a sauce because it doesn't come in a squeezy bottle.

It does in some countries. When I lived in Japan it came in squeezie bottles.

Hendersons rules - but I do use other things too - red, brown, tabasco, salad cream, mayo, vinegar, mint, apple....

sometimes a combination too :)

Tomato & Worcester is absolutely gorgeous! Goes fab with saisages/baked beans. Good if you can't decide whether you prefer ketchup or brown sauce.

It's gotta be ketchup but I used to like brown sauce and ham sandwiches when I was little!

I also love mayo with chips but I absolutely hate salad cream, the smell of it, taste of it......... urgh :gag:

You can get Helmans in a squeezy bottle.

My favourite sauces :

warm hollandaise
Caesar dressing
Parmesan ranch dressing (which has an almost deadly fat content)
Blue cheese dressing
HP brown sauce

Cardini make the best sauces in the world.
