Hi, is there anywhere in or near Sheffield where you can take children at the age of 3 horse riding? I found one but it said from age 5. Just wanted somewhere they could have a go as it were not necessarily a proper lesson as such.
Thanks

Smallage Farm at Swallownest/Aston may take them from 3 but I'm not sure, they don't do lessons as such its more of a case of just a plod through the woods.

I went somewhere with my daughter last yr, cant remember the name, its something like Alpaca farm, we went up to have a look rnd,it was in the hols.
They took my little one rnd and she was under 3yrs.
Payed about £3 for her to be taken rnd, sure they do lessons as people were in and out on horses.

Hi thanks i will check that out, I went to smallage farm when i was in my teens a couple of times and enjoyed the riding, just not sure if it would be suitable for my wo just yet though cos you do head off into the woods on an hours ride, i was thinking maybe half an hour where they go round a field or indoor type area.
