Hi there, have just joined fitness-unlimited after two smaller gyms where I had membership closed. Looking for a gym buddy, I tend to go to Don Valley, for running too.
My old gyms were small and I got to know people there, but don't know anyone down at Don Valley and now finding it hard to get motivated especially as I used to be able to walk to my old gyms but now have to drive or cycle.
I'm 29 male, just looking for some mutual motivation.

Hi
I train at Don Valley M/W/F. Most people are really approachable and will be happy to spot for you or whatever. There are quite a lot of fellas your age there and I'm sure if you get talking you'll find a training partner :)

Why not get involved in a fitness class? thats a good way to meet people.
Generally people are quite friendly in gyms and will talk to other fitness bods. Just don't try to strike up a conversation with another man, when in the showers though.... not a good idea:D

Thanks for the advice guys. Am looking for someone to do all round workout with, not a big lifter myself but running, cycling and focussing on getting the best from my body in that respect. I joined Don Valley because of the track as well as the gym, am hoping to rearrange my life a little to join the runltd group so if there is anyone involved in that shout out.
