Did you frequent this Ale House?
If so, do you remember Terry Macnamara.
He now runs the Princess Royal on Slinn Street
and he is holding a reunion of all the Lads and Lasses
that used to drink in the Cannon Hall.
If you used to drink there or you remember Terry
Please come along.
It is being held on Friday 15th August at the Princess Royal
Slinn Street.
Look forward to seing you there.:clap:

Too far to come Nettie, I met my wife in there 45 years ago, it was the first time in there for both of us, it had a bad name at the time, but that was a load of crap, it was a great place, had all the great bands there too.

Well I know that only 2 people have posted replies.
Lets hope that out of the 103 people who have viewed this thread
a few of them have not posted because they want to surprise us tonight.
We have already contacted quite a few by phone,

Hi Andy
We had a great night - I am just about coming round.
Your Uncle Pete and Auntie Barbara did come and it was lovely to see them.
Unfortunately, we didnt have the turn out we were hoping for. We wondered if folk didnt come because it was a Friday.
As Terry Mac will not be in the Princess Royal for much longer, reunions will be harder to arrange.
So WE ARE DOING IT ALL OVER AGAIN
Saturday 30th August
Anyone who drank in the Cannon 60s/70s or remembers Terry Macnamara
Please join us.

Hi Terry
It was a great night wasnt it.
Not long to go till Saturday.
After looking at Barbara's old photos it got me thinking
There must be plenty of amusing photos out there.
In particular I remember one fancy dress do
when Terry Mac came dressed as a baby
with only a bath towel to cover his modesty!!
Surely someone has a photo of that
It would be wonderful if we could get a copy
