We are watering our neigbours tomotoes and I am worried as the leaves are curling inwards on those nearest the glass of the greenhouse. The message I got (via my dad who is a bit deaf) is that they need 1 watering can (huge can-1 gallon?) between 2 plants. This seems like loads, so I have been giving them this between 3-4 as they and the grobags (3 plants per bag) seem wet. I dont want to leave them standing in water. Tonight some water ran out of the grobag.

Is the leaf curling due to under or over watering? Or something else?

They are tall plants- maybe 5ft and roof windows are propped open a little as this is how they left it and asked to keep it this way unless hot when they need opening more.

Don't be too worried - the plant has only a few weeks left in it so it will start to die anyway no matter how much water you give it. Just make sure it doesn't dry out and you are giving the tomato feed and it'll be fine.

phew I was getting worried. One of them is really droopy this morning- leaves look soggy. I think it has had too much water. Its a warm day today so I have opened the door and hope the sun may perk them up a bit :(

my tomatoes kept going until November last year, so I'd keep watering (and feeding). Do they have any shading (from the sun) ?

I'd keep watering and feeding with liquid feed. watering is one of the hardest things about gardening as it's not 1 gallon or what ever the plant, it depends on weather, heigh, sun, how the plants are feeling that day. If soil light brown water, if dark brown don't as they're wet. The curling usually happens from under watering though
