Is there really such a thing anymore?

If it's not GM foods, it's animals being pumped full of antibiotics due to intensive farmimg.
Then theres all the chemicals sprayed on to our food to kill bugs, kill weeds etc.
Not to mention the possible health risks with eating beef (only yesterday saw it in the paper that some abatoirs weren't obeying the slaughter rules which had allowed possible infected meat into the food chain).
The cancer causing dye fed to farmed salmon because we like pink fish. Possibly dangerous colouring used in some smoked products. Then the PCB and mercury risk with some sea fish.

The list is endless. I know that we have to eat and you could send yourself crazy thinking about all of this but I find it very worrying. I honestly believe that all of this little lot is contributing to all the cancers people get.

Any thoughts.

i always thught i was a healthy eater - having a balanced diet and munching on lots of organic fruit and veg but then my friend told me that i am gonna end up diabetic from too much of the latter. natural sugar and that. surely its better than gorging on refined and over processed junk?

You havent got long on this earth so its always best to enjoy yourself but dont endanger your time.

Dont eat fatty foods all day and shorten the time you have - try to lengthen it by having all the right things but at the same time dont make yourself a martyr to eating bloody hippy food like god knows what beans and foods that sound about as appetising as a finger thats just been stuck in an ear.

Balance between having fun and eating foods that actually taste of something whilst at the same time not turning yourself into a big, fat, unhealthy slob who lives til theyre 50 then get CHD and lives the rest of their life in and out of hospital with chest pains before dying a quick but painful death at a relatively early age.

A big Mac n' cheese and a diet coke. Now that's healthy!
One rules out the other.
