View Full Version : Business Card/Leaflet Exchange
Love2print 12-08-2008, 17:23 I have recently started my own company designing and supplying personalised wedding stationery. I have a website and I will also be showing at several wedding fayres this year.
Sometimes clients ask for recommendations for other services. It would be nice to have a collection of business cards or leaflets from other fields to distribute and in exchange, have my cards and leaflets distributed by likeminded traders.
If anyone is interested please contact me.
lawson1082 18-08-2008, 21:41 hi i make Bridal garters and just starting to branch out further would you be able to distribute some of my business flyers
Amanda88t 27-08-2008, 21:06 i am interested :) i am just starting up a photography bussiness. if you would like to join forces that would be good, perhaps share a link on each others website as well or something
pm me or something
Amanda
Amanda88t 27-08-2008, 21:24 will you also be wanting to link share?
looby lou 27-08-2008, 22:02 Hi count me in! I am a wedding/event planner, pm me with details
Haighybaby 28-08-2008, 20:46 Hi Guys,
I own a fairly new business that also specialises in balloons aswell as flowers.
I am based in the S8 area and am more than happy to exchange business cards and pass on referrals.
I do think however people need to see examples of everyones work before they are passed on just to make sure they can do what they advertise.
Cheers
Tracy
Amanda88t 28-08-2008, 21:44 Tracy that is a very good idea, there are examples of my work this year on my website
looby lou 28-08-2008, 22:15 I do think however people need to see examples of everyones work before they are passed on just to make sure they can do what they advertise.
Agree! Its always best to see each others work before hand, I can vouch for Love2print - great company!
Amanda88t 28-08-2008, 22:18 well thats always a good start :P
This all seems like it could be a very good start for us all. i look forward to being a part of it.
I am back in sheffield on the 20th september, as it looks like we would all like to see example work why doesnt every one who is interested meet for a coffee in the city centre or something with some examples? this is only a suggestion, anyone else feel free to chip in :)
Amanda
looby lou 28-08-2008, 23:03 Amanda I would be up for that, see what everyone else wants to do and we will make a date to meet up
Love2print 29-08-2008, 09:59 I'd be okay with meeting up.
hi guys well i have a wedding venue in which i would like to arrange a wedding fayre if any of you guys are interested we coulod all jointly arrange it
give me a call on 07962374937
Amanda88t 03-09-2008, 13:52 Sounds good :)
well i hope we can all meet up, would be good :)
looby lou 03-09-2008, 16:23 ok so it seems as though we are all wanting to meet up, so what days are good for everyone?
Amanda88t 03-09-2008, 16:48 I am not back until the weekend of the 20th of sept. but apart from not being avaliable until then i am free most of the time as i do my work from home.
looby lou 03-09-2008, 20:35 thats good, I am free pretty much the same I work from home too!
ok I will check dates after the 20th, any preference on where we should meet up?
Amanda88t 03-09-2008, 21:08 I live in the city centre and have no transport yet, so if it could be somewhere in the city center that would be best for me, but obviously i dont want to be selfish so if this is inconvenient for everyone else then that can be re thought.
thanks
Love2print 03-09-2008, 21:43 I can get to the city centre quite easily, so if everyone else is fine with it I'd be happy to meet in the city centre. I'm free most of the time (also work from home), only exceptions are Sundays as thats when I go to wedding fayres.
Amanda88t 29-09-2008, 13:03 I am avaliable from now on. does everyone still want to meet up?
thanks
Amanda
