Sheffield’s swimmers are set to pound the pool after a top city sports centre launched its ‘Swim 4 A Quid’ scheme.
Concord Sports Centre, in Shiregreen, is introducing the two-week summer special to everyone between Monday 18 to Sunday 31 August.
Greg Henshaw, operations manager at the Sheffield International Venues-managed sports centre, said: “We have a break in our swimming lessons for a few weeks so we thought it would be a great way to get people fit and active in the pool by charging only £1 per session.”
The offer is open for weekday sessions between 4pm-7.15pm and on weekends from 8am-12pm. There is also a Sunday evening session at 4pm until 7.15pm.
