If anyone can give me some directions to Dempseys it would be greatly appreciated!!! I live near Dev Green, city centre.

Does any one know what the best days are to go and if there are any other gay clubs or nights?

Walk down the road past the Washington and mad greek. Walk to the bottom of the moor and find the Yorkshire bank. Turn left and it is there.

Go to the bottom of the Moor, and folow the scent of chip fat and Kouros, you should find it easily.

Climax at the student union is good (opens to none students as well). Its only on once a month. I think its the first friday or something. Don't go to dempseys its defines dingy and sordid.

If I was you ngie1 I would try Dempseys yourself and dont listen to the usual comments from the usual people in here who usually slag off the gay scene..... as I say try it for yourself.

The best night depends what you like ...

Karaoke is on Wednesdays and Sundays
Quiz is on a Tuesday
Friday and Saturdays are the busiest night

You should try coming to VIP @ Takapuna if you like funky house and/or R&B.
