Afternoon,
I have a Nintendo Wii and Xbox 360 that both run off component cable, but I only have 1 component inlet in the back of my Tv.
Is there an adaptor available that allows 2 sets of component cable to go in one inlet to save me having to keep swapping them round?
Cheers
Yes, I got one last year for my 360 and Wii from Maplins for about 15 quid.
I've now got an Elite 360 which is using the HDMI lead and Wii through component.
Unfortunately, I gave the component splitter away 6 weeks ago otherwise you could have had it :(

is the component cable a composite connection (an rca/phono plug) if so then a simple splitter will do it about 2 quid from maplins

The one I used on the 360 and Wii was the one with green/blue/red etc. plugs (there were either 5 or 6 plugs on it), but these leads I bought were extras for both consoles (and not the supplied AV ones) as the picture was much better.

Following on from this, I've visited Maplins this afternoon.
The only thing they had was a switch box which was £40. They didn't have a clue about a component splitter.
Could anyone put up a link to one please as I can't find one anywhere.

Strange
It's where I got mine from, they must have stopped doing them or something.
Anyway, mine looked like this (http://www.amazon.co.uk/Component-Expansion-Ypbpr-Box-Sockets/dp/B000ODUJ9A/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=videogames&qid=1218559347&sr=8-1) from Amazon.
Very similar anyway!
If you want it, hurry up as it's the last one by the looks of things........

Just bought this from ebay, http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Power-Box-3-Way-YPbPr-Component-Selector_W0QQitemZ190198255790QQcmdZViewItem?hash= item190198255790&_trkparms=72%3A984%7C39%3A1%7C66%3A2%7C65%3A12&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14.l1318.
Looks to be the same thing.
