I am in desperate need of a haircut, but my regular place (The Mens Room) only seems to be able to fashion peoples hair into mullets at the moment.


So recommendations for a barber who will cut my hair without either giving me a mullet, or the kind of cut that 15 year old chavs favour I'd appreciate. :)

Henger on West Street is a walk in barbers. Charges about £8-£10 for a hair cut and open until 7 on Thursdays. Hope that helps.

I'm with Geoff on this one - I take my son to Henger and the service is really good and not too expensive either.

Try castle college. The students are crying out for male clients. They are supervised and are very good. Also very cheep. Wednesday is the late night {until 9 pm}

the mullet situation in sheffield is shocking!

I always (for about the last 3 years) go to Janette's on Commonside. It's a fiver for your no frills trim. Open till 7 on Thursdays too.

Try Shearers at Crosspool they are open until 7pm on Thursday and Fridays - excellent haircut ex Sweeneys girls

Try Freestylers on Ecclesall Road. I go there all the time and have never been disappointed! The laydees that work there aint too bad either!!:hihi:

Got a trim for £9.95 at Henger's: thanks for the recommendation. Where else could you get that at 6:45pm? ;)
