I've had a busy, domestic type of day today.


Changed and washed some curtains.

Washed/dried and ironed 3 loads of washing.

Cleaned the kitchen/utility and toilet.

Cleaned downstairs windows outside.

Made beds.

Prepared meal for this evening.

Washed all laminate floors downstairs.

Read Labour :lol: and Conservative election leaflet.

....... and of course had the ocassional peep in here :thumbsup:

took kids to school, made beds, washed brekkie dishes, played on net, erm....made a sandwich for my dinner, played on net, erm.....gonna get ready to pick kids up soon tho;)

sat on the slip road from the m42 to the m6 for 2.5hrs due to an accident.
Arrived at work at 11.
Forumed.
Had lunch.

Made cup of tea for all other developers.
Nothing on radar apart from forum until hotel at 17, gym at 17:30, and early night after reading my book.

woke up made kids packed lunches, had bath got in shop about 10. put computer on to check ebay, had a nosey in here.had to sort customers out, made cuppa's cos mam n dad in law came round. had dinner, did some paper work been on here ever since :D

Managed to drag myself from bed

Got into work to find only 3 people including me from a team of 8 turned up.

Went to a meeting to find out that I can either relocate to Huddersfield or be made redundant (for the 3rd time!!)

Had dinner and forummed for a while

Sorted out numerous dull task's and spent the afternoon fielding foolish questions from those who should know better.

I plan to leave work, prepare a nice Shepherd's pie and maybe nip down the local.

Behold the rock and roll whirlwind of existence that is my day!!!

Assisted student's final year project; x-ray analysis of foamed aluminium sample to identify distribution of titanium inclusions within substrate.

Lunch and pint sitting outside at Ruskin's while watching the world go by.

Filled various energy dispersive x-ray detectors with liquid nitrogen.
Currently pondering whether to do a PhD or not.
Plan this evening is to watch the Liverpool-Chelsea match in the Lescar and drink stupid amounts regardless of outcome.
Then home to bed before starting tomorrow's adventure.

Got kids to school. Took one to playgroup. Fetched that one back.

Cleaned or rather hacked poo off back of toilet (why can't men just get it to go down nice and cleanly without hitting the sides!!!)

Vacumed/Dusted cleaned sinks and floors, all this while making odd visit to Forum to keep sanity.

Watched my car getting towed away to garage after recent accident. :(

Now got to start on Shepherds Pie for tea later.

Had smallish job in Bradway. Home for lunch. Assembled brand new wheelbarrow aquired on another clearance job. Took dog out and got soaked (3.24pm) Came on here. Job in Netheredge at 4pm

Writing an essay (managed 500 words of a 4000 word essay)
Procrastinating online
Eating scotch pancakes

Tonight I will get lots of essay done (hopefully) and have a big bowl of pasta for tea (yummy carbohydrates!)

Read child bedtime story and then drink wine in front of coronation street

Spent my time reading what every one else did today !

I have been to work for 4 hours (9am til 1pm) I have called at B&Q for some plants as 20% off finishes tomorrow!!! I have got home and made some dinner, opened mail and then played with 2 year old son on Nick Jnr Website whilst flicking in & out of forum whilst he wasn't looking I have then picked up older children from school who are now playing with 2 year old so I have come back on for a quick look before logging off and cracking on with some tea!!

I will be back at approx 10pm after Grand Designs...:thumbsup: !!

Awoke at 8.30 (quite early for me).
Caught the bus into college.

Treked to LloydsTSB to pay some money in - was infuriated with the queue for a cashier and for the "Deposit Point"; went outside, and paid it in at the ATM.
Popped into the O2 store

Caught the bus back into college
Lesson 2 - test preperation.
2.30 - Finished.

Printed off completed assignments.

Will go home around 5pm.

Will continue to place my CDs back onto iTunes after reformatting!

Designed a poster for a club night that I do
Now I have to make a choise between grand designs and the football.

7am - Woke up in a hotel in Newport

7.30am - Phone call - its the wife and kids singing me Happy Birthday - Bless em

8am - Foruming and emails

8.30am - Work on a Large tender all day in Newport with work colleagues from Wales

4pm - drive home to Sheff

7pm - Open pressies and cards

9pm Foruming

9.20pm - Now going to crack open a beer and then bed - Knackered

5.45am - Got up, fed cats, ironed work clothes, pinched a tenner from husbands wallet ( he'll never know) showered, dressed, and went to work..

7.00am - arrived at work, 2 large mugs of coffee needed to face the day ahead..

8.30am - 4pm - shouted at, and abused by people who think that a medical card will allow them to buy alcohol if they are asked for ID (no you dont look 18, no a medical card is not proof of age, and no i am not a slag for refusing to serve you.)

4.30pm - got home and did the housework..

6 pm - made dinner

9pm - opened a bottle of wine and decided to have nosey at whats going off on here...

10pm - time for bed because i will have to do it all over again tomorrow oh well...

At the moment Im cleaning the cooker from top to bottom, so I dont feel too guilty about being on SF at the same time.!:rolleyes:

First I went shopping in town and when I got home I got a rollocking off the OH because I brought the wrong sized nappies home for the baby.

Then I got several more rollockings for various other things off the OH and finally this evening I got a proper, loud, nasty rollocking from her because....

Actually I forget why but knowing her, being totty and all it`ll be for something trivial. You know what totty are like.

Flippin shopping again !!

I went to the re-opening of Wilkinsons in town, bought a few things and had something to eat in the cafe. Then I dropped a letter off, browsed a few game shops without buying anything. Then went home because it was raining, finished a bit more painting and removed the door handles from one of the bedroom doors. Now I'm on here waiting for Monster Baby to go to sleep. Hoping to watch a bit of TV later if he ever nods off.

Came home and fell asleep at 6.45pm, OH woke me up at 8.15pm, watched BGT and i'm now ready for going back to sleep :hihi:

Drove to Walsall, did 4 hours martial arts, drove back (well, rode back in passenger seat), went to Sakushi for food, went to Wig and Pen, then St Pauls Mercure, then home. Now, have toast, bed.
