View Full Version : So What The Fuss? Stevie Wonder
Has anyone else heard Stevie's latest song So What The Fuss? I am the only person who has to turn the radio down when it comes on? It's one of those songs that really gets on my nerves. What does anyone else think?
Shame on us
Shame on me, Shame on you, Shame on them, Shame on us
(repeat)
So what the fuss
Geoff,
What happened to Stevie Wonder's talent, musical ability and taste after the albums Talking Book, Innervisions and Fullfillingness remains one of life's mysteries. The man capable of writing Uptight and Superstition now churns out dross, like the track you mention. Life is a vale of tears.
mr.blaze 27-04-2005, 14:49 I think he must have lost his sight in music.

Kristian 27-04-2005, 15:21 Does anyone remember the sketches they did of Stevie Wonder on Bo Selecta? What was the backing music they used to play on his sketches? Just wondered if it was an actual SW track or not.
I'm a huge fan of Mr Wonder, but I haven't heard this track (I doubt they would play it on radio 2)
I'll have to download it (from a legal site of course) and have a listen.

Its bloody awful, and it seems to be on Radio 2 every 20 minutes.

Wasn't it: 'I just called to say, I love you'
I love Stevie Wonder. Songs in the Key of Life is wonderful.

You're right Timo. I had the grave misfortune to hear his new track and expected it to be awful, which it is, in bucketfuls.

Thanks Lestat, but I don't think it was. I'm not a particular SW fan, but I would have recognised that one I think.
Nick2,
Nice to see you back. That was a short holiday! Are you brown all over? [Hopefully, I will get a classic Nick2 one-liner back....! LOL].

I only went away for 6 days, to north Wales, sunbathing was out of the question.
BoppinBruce 28-04-2005, 13:37 Just heard the song on Steve Wright, waiting for David Schwimer to come on.
Its a blast, taking me back to 'Hey Harmonica Man' on the now defunct Oriel Label.
The king is dead, long live the king
Wait until you've heard the 10th time - as someone mentioned eariler, it's on every 20 minutes...
Lickable 28-04-2005, 14:24 I agree with Geoff, Stevie 'Wonder whats in front of me' new song is annoying and over played. However. at least real music is slowly heading back to the charts.
I like it!
I must say i thought it was a remixed version of an old song of his though!
