Did anyone go to see the equestrian theatre near meadowhall? I think it's finished now, but my aunt took my sister and I because she wanted to go and it's my birthday so she took us. I was a little unsure of what it would be like at first but it was fantastic! those horses are amazing!
If you didn't go to see it, look out for something similar coming along again, I know these things sometimes come every couple of years or so. I highly recommend it and I'll even be on the lookout to go again - I enjoyed it that much!
Stuff's expensive though, (as we expected) if you're going to have a drink or sweets - take it with you!

My daughter, Chezlyn, went and said it was fantastic, a great show for anyone with a love of horses.
i took my son (age 6), he absolutely loved it. We packed up our own food in a cool bag, as I expected the food and drinks there to be expensive. Would recommend the show to anyone. We paid an extra £1 each afterwards to go to the stables and look at the horses.

I went with my 6yr old neice. (Thanks to Litha for some vouchers!!)
She had a fantasitic time. Her eyes got wider and wider as the show went on.
The horses were amazing, they were so intelligent, well behaved and talented. They also looked like they thoroughly enjoyed giving the performance and there was no sign of any whips/crops being used which worried me a bit at the start. You hear bad things about circuses and the training tactics they use. Instead this lot use treats and praise as reward and the finished performance was fantastic.
the merchandise was way too expensive and the benched seating was a bit uncomfortable, but apart from that - really enjoyed it.
Loopy.

Yeah, it was fantastic wasn't it? I had no idea really what to expect but it was well worth the money. The horses who did the moves with the long poles were my favourites. Will definately go again if it comes back. Would kill for the outfit that Gypsy dancer lady was wearing too :)
I really would've like to buy one of the painted horse ornaments, but couldn't justify spending £40 on one. A shame the merchandise cost so much.
What were the stables like? I didn't get a chance to see them, my Mother in law needed her inhaler because of all the dust kicked up and the smoke. So we headed straight home afterwards.
