So you put the music on a flash drive and just plug it in?

Possibly not, as it'd need all the software *and* hardware to play that music as well as the speakers. So what you really want it an iPod (or similar) and docking station...

some hi-fi's support this as well as memory cards, some car stereo's also have USB Drive support, look around, they do exist :)

but this is for a partay! at someone's house.

2, under 10 watts

too much to play around with,
it was to take a 2.1 or 2.0 speakers out in the garden,
with a flash drive,

why not get a mp3 player and some speakers? i soemtimes do that with my old ps2 surround speakers :)
