Hoping to hear from any of my relatives in Sheffield,
Im a Wyborn boy by birth and lived at 54 Saunders road until we moved to Hyde park then onto Australia in 1968.
my grandmother used to live on Maltravers cresent before moving to Park hill. My dads brother Joe used to live in Manor oaks close and as far as im aware my Auntie Norma still does.
The Simpson clan around the Wybourn area was a pretty big one with 5 boys and 3 girls in the family, Joe, johnn,Brian,Ron,Betty,Anne,Ruth and of course my dad Fred.
My aunt Betty and her husband Gordon Smith live on manor park and so does my aunt Anne and her husband Ronnie.
If anyone knows of theres people please head them in my direction. My Mothers name is Jean (Pollitt)

You wouldn’t believe it I was only thinking about you the other day, I don’t know if you remember the night before we left for Australia you gave me a Wednesday supporters club badge? Unfortunately I lost it many years ago but have been trying recently to get another. Anyway how are you? How’s you mum? And how’s the Simpson clan. I’ve got so many questions. I f I remember rightly when we over there in 89 you were living down south somewhere.

Well what can I say? The girls are all well Janice as 2 boys who 22 and 19, Linda’s got 2 girls and a boy their ages rage from 7 – 12 and Amanda’s got 1of each which are 8 and 10 and of course me we have one and he’s 27 and due to get married in February.
Mums been a bit sick of the last few years she has Parkinson’s disease but she manages it well and im only a couple of miles away from her. Let me know what your email is so I can send you some photos.
