Can anyone reccomend a good restauramt for venison in the sheffield area, I've really been craving some for a while now, but it's not so common.

Have you tried the Dore Grill ???

I take it that's in Dore? Have no transport so a bit tricky, but if you recommend it it could be worth the journey. Is there a menu on the net

543 on Ecclesall Rd had some on about 6 weeks ago, last time I went. Seemed to know how to cook it as well. Or there's the Cavendish hotel at Baslow, but if you've got no transport.....

Most good restaurants will have it on their menu from time to time. Try ringing Froggies, Rafters or Thyme.

I had venison at the Peacock (Owler Bar) the other Sunday and it was as tough as an old boot! I was so dissapointed.
