Meeting an old mate tonight who has just returned to Sheffield after a spell in London. I don't go into town very often but know the usual spots, are there any specific places you can recommend? We are both 40ish, married so not looking for places to pull :)
He is used to living it up in London on a good salary but also like traditional pubs. I might try a selection across the spectrum.

Sorry miles away!

Started in the Forum, then Common Room for a few games of pool, Devonshire Cat and finished somewhere on west Street which I can't remember the name of. It was a good night apart from the last place. large and yellow from the outside.

Out again wed night with the same mate and another from Manchester so will try a few more then.

Any more suggestions.
