ever since I put Zonealarm onto my comp I cant send files via MSN mesenger, I dont know what to do?

My advice would be to uninstall Zonealarm and install Sygate personal firewall (www.sygate.com/firewall).

What version of MSN do you have? The latest version 7.0.777 has very annoying 'security' feature that seems to be blocking 'unsafe' attachments... nice of them to tell us that it was there (unless I missed it...). The message you get with it is that when you try to receive or send a file it from and to other users of the latest version of MSN it checks the file format and declares it unsecure if it could be any chance of being a problem :loopy:

Anyway 2 ways around it - zip up your files and try sending or 'hack' MSN with a little program called Mess Patch from http://www.mess.be/

You can turn off lots of other things too :clap:

Be warned though 'hack' programs can mess up things so be careful when using it!

way too hasty, i have ZA and messenger working perfectly,

have you allowed messenger to have internet access? check your firewall.

or i wud suggest unistalling them both and reinstalling them, install messenger first.
