Has anyone ever been to mangla on spital hill. What do you think of the foof/service/price. Thinking of taking my boyfriend there for his birthday but wanting to know if its any good first.

It's great, the food is great and it's not very expensive. You need to take your own wine or beer or you can wander over the road to the Easthouse pub on the corner and they will flog you jugs of beer / cider which you take over to the Mangla. You don't even need to take the jug back. The wine in the Easthouse is awful so take a bottle or two if thats what you were going to drink.

And before people start, it's not a dangerous place to be!

I eat at the Mangla far to often (if that is possible) as I live very close and apart from the chicken being a bit dry sometimes I have never had a complaint.
