Is anyone going to the Planet Zogg night at the Lesccar this saterday night? Been to Zogg before and thought it was fantastic but beeb to a doo at the Lescar before! What's it like?

It used to be on every sunday and called Probe, hope Dill starts it up again as it was always good. They stick some decor up in the back room and have lights and all that, it's a good night and free to boot. Lets hope it becomes a regular occurance.

thinks it just a one off this sat, lescar is pretty well booked up these days, bnut should be a good crowd down there, only pub hours but a good laugh

Its not actually a PLANET ZOGG but a PROBE night

Dil ran Probe every Saturday for three years in the back room of the Lescar and there were some pretty mad nights in there - especially the night after Zogg (which used to be on friday).

Everyone was perstering Dil when he was going to do another one - so in true Magnificant Seven style - he got the old crew back together again for one last mission!

Should be a good laugh and trip down memory lane...

It all kicks off at tea time (6:30) with some bloke called JohnnyM, followed by Lam, Col Garnett, Greg Zogg & Dil with all the usual cosmic visuals & stuff

I've never heard about this night, can someone explain to me what it's about and what music is played.

Call me blonde but I have no idea!

PROBE was a regular sat night in the back room of the Lescar pub at Hunters Bar put on by Dil from Planet Zogg.

It featured lots of different guest DJs which could be anything from acid techno to funky house to reggae to whatever the guest felt like playing - the last hour or two usually featured Dil cranking out some thumping trance-techno.

What made it different to the usual pub night was that there was loads of UV decor and lights - and on occasion it could get quite riotous in there. Sat is a bit of a reunion event.

Actually, you'll be surprised! I used to love getting dressed up in my neon pink and UV gear (including fluffy boot covers!) and dance my ass off to trance all night til daybreak but it's been a loooong time since I did that.

I went to Global Gathering 2003 as my old dance crew were perforiming there on the podiums.

I may come along one night but I don't know any candy ravers in Sheffield that would enjoy it! :)

In which case Sparkle you should come to this one as there might not be any more.

As I have no plans this weekend, there's a bloody good chance I'll be there too. I enjoy the back room of the Lescar most nights, but this one should be pretty special

Just so rumours dont start (!) I would point out that although there's no guarantee there'll be another PROBE after saturday - PLANET ZOGG - the club allnighter - continues , as ever, on the second saturday of the month at ZERO!

Na, but my uncle Bulgeria said he's off.......not sure what he will be dressed like though.....maybe a fraggle!
