Can anyone help me with my family history? I am seeking information about the Sheffield Repertory Company between the two World Wars. Does anyone know if John Fraser OUTRAM who was a writer and actor, and Edith OUTRAM who was a producer and director were related? There was also E J (possibly Eric James) OUTRAM. I believe that other cast members were also connected to J F Outram.
Any help will be gratefully received.

Sorry, not on your particular topic. Was'nt the famous actor Patrick McGoohan of T.V. and movie fame, a member of the Sheffield Repertory Theatre at some point of his career.

What about Keith Barron and Peter Sallis, just to mention two more? And does anyone recall Ella Atkinson, Philip Stone, John Pickles. Patrick McGoohan met his his wife when they were both youngsters at the Playhouse. I believe they now live in the US. Keith Barron's wife, Mary, was also at the Playhouse in that great era of Geoffrey Ost.
