Heavy equipment maker Caterpillar has seen red over a new Disney film which it claims portrays its earthmovers as "evil" - more... (http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/business/3196864.stm)
:loopy: Surely this kind of move will do more damage to Caterpillar's brand / image than if they had simply ignored it?
From the website:
Caterpillar objects to the final battle sequence, which pits George and his computer-animated animal friends against an army of Caterpillar Wheel Loaders that a narrator calls "bulldozing bullies".
The Caterpillar name and corporate logo are featured clearly throughout.
yabba yabba...I can understand Caterpillar's point. Disney must have an axe to grind if they're going to that level of detail.
I would have thought it would be good for Caterpillar's image if anything.

Bucketta would like to point out that Disney themselves are inherently evil. Apart from 'Uncle' Walt being a racist, they have successfully murdered almost every classic ever released.
(yes, he only ever uses my computer to come on here, lol) Wish he'd just pay BT and get his own phone line:D
