Got mine from Mr Blunkett, thats all. Perhaps the other candidates have decided its not worth wasting the trees!

I've received mine from Labour, Conservative, Lib-Dem, UKIP, and two separate leaflets from the Socialist Party (both hand delivered a week apart).

Had a good laugh at the Conservative leaflet though. The Tory candidate rants on about so-called pensioner poverty - and the photo is of himself with two old ladies, one of whom is wearing a string of pearls. Fab! Anyone else spotted similar 'pearlers'?

Just missing a BNP one for the collection. Not seen anything of a campaign - is there a candidate for Sheffield Hallam? If so area they keeping it a secret?

I got two from the greens - and here was me thinking they would be against wasting paper and multiple postings!

Looking at the poll results it looks like around half have yet to get theirs.
Would be interesting to know which areas have got them and those that havent?

I'm afraid to say that I've forwarded stuff form the letter box to the special filing cabinet in the kitchen. :)

But I think that there's been Labour and UKIP so far.

I tend to recycle (environmentally friendly, me) most of them as soon as they come through the post box. There is little point, in my opinion, on making your decision based on a glossy and generally hard to follow/read piece of party propaganda :hihi:

Edit: That makes two of us then Joe!

My parents got their UKIP ones today.

I doubt they'll be voting UKIP though :P

I sadly won't be receiving any leaflets.... I'll be just under two months away from the voting age :(

Had the green one t'other day.
Received Liberal, Labour & BNP today.

The bloody labour one had my personal details on it too!!!!
 Name & address.

Definately NOT getting my vote now! Prying bar stewards!

Mind you, they never were gonna get it.

We've had them from the Greens, Respect, Labour, and Conservatives so far. I do read them out of curiosity, but a short leaflet wouldn't be enough to get me to vote for any particular party. They are far too vague anyway... promising all kinds of fantastical things but no mention of how they are going to deliver them.

Now got all 5 for the Brightside poll, a few points...

Labour - No No No, Mr Blunkett

Conservative - Not a chance

BNP - Sorry I'm afraid not - like the 'minimal' cost leaflet approach - is it recycled paper too?

UKIP - Nope

Lib Dem - Jonathan, sort out the barnet and I'll vote for you..

The leaflets are coming thicker and faster now. I think I'm up to about 4 Tory, 4 Lib Dems, 1 Green, 1 UKIP, and 2 Christian People's Alliance. Only Labour and the BNP haven't bothered.

i got all my leaflets today in the post, the only one i headed for was the BNP leaflet as i remember last election having a gud'ol chuckle to myself about how they were saying they are not racists and quite obviously they were!! but to my suprise i found that they finally managed to write a leaflet that does not sound "too" racist!

Still waiting for mine royjames. Have the BNP run out of money to make sure all voters get a leaflet? (Hopefully, yes!).

They are running low on money but also a lot of Postmen are refusing to deliver their material as they judge it to be fascist.

Might be a coincidence but since ten of us on the same street all complained about our post service on the same day we now have a much better postman, who has delivered every leaflet except the BNP.

Has anyone had a Labour leaflet with a picture of Tony Blair on? So far only seen him on the Lib Dems mail out. Also the Green leaflet has a quote from Ralph Nader which the candidate claims as his own. But I'm sure Nader won't mind.

No BNP leaflet here - must ask my lovely postman if he's saving our street the job of putting them in the blue bins. Though have to admit do want to read what they are saying ( or rather what they haven't put into print to persuade voters)

Is the Conservative candidate for Sheffield Hallam going to do any voting canvassing?

I was hoping for a good tactical 'fight' between them and the Lib Dem candidate. Can't get rid of the Lib Dems around but not a blue thingy in sight - could be a one sided battle.

Panda, I think we got your share of Respect leaflets today - 12 (count 'em) in one go. All equally dull, all straight in the blue bin!

Had 2 identical ones from the Labour Party, both addressed to my husband. Perhaps they don't realise that the franchise has been extended to women yet.

Just as well that neither myself or my husband will be voting for them.

29-04-2005, 13:13
Had all 5 delivered yesterday
tory folla doesn`t live here
neither does UKIP woman so won`t be voting for them
BNP bloke let me think............................................. .................................................. ...........not a cat in hells
So that leaves lib dem and labour

My vote goes to Labour why.......
cos I like him and regardless of recent events I think he does his utmost for Sheffield. especially his constituency

Had one from the philandering visa fiddling debaucher and Don Juan of Braille David Blunkett. I was upset by its glossy finish, it was not absorbent enough for me to wipe my a**e on.
Any postman who refuses to deliver any party leaflet should be sacked for refusing to fulfil their contractual obligations. Most postmen cannot even spell the word fascist never mind understand the concept behind it.
When it comes to paying them their wages I would send them in the post using postmen who refused to deliver them on the grounds that freedom of speech was being supressed.

Just had my UKIP one.
What a load of rubbish, another party flying the asylum flag. I dont know what is worse, all the opposition parties using asylum as their main vote earning tool (except Lib Dem who wanna bring more in) or Labours seemingly total ignorance that any problem exists with asylum.
