Although I am from London and return quite frequently I never use the tube. Shortly I am however, I am visiting Golders Green.

Can anybody tell me if the Guardian Angels still ride on the London Tube. Those peace ambassadors that wore red berrets and if not, why not?

On my various trips to and from London I can't say I've seen them at all. Golders Green is on the Northern Line, I think; have to say I've never had problems on that line early morning to mid-evening. Can't say what it gets like after dark, so to say.

I would think in Blair's Britain, where the populace have already been disarmed by firearms legislation and you can get in to more trouble by fighting a mugger off than the mugger does, these folks would have been told that their services are no longer needed.

They would have probably failed in their victim awareness training by daring to allow victims of crime to be created, whilst at the same time having a name that offends people who don't believe in Angels. :)
