Did anyone else see Genghis Khan on BBC 1, i thought it was really good.

I thought it was disappointing. As a drama-documentary, I thought there was too much drama and not enough documentary. There was a documentary on Genghis on one of the cable channels recently which I thoguth was much better, not least because it was much more informative and packed a lot more detail about his life into the space of an hour. .

I thought it was fabulous, but one hour was not enough! The latter part of his life was just done in a voice over in a couple of minutes near the end, so there obviously wasn't enough time to really cover it.
But I did enjoy it, just wish it had been a bit longer :thumbsup:

I thought the BBC did an excellent job :thumbsup: It was great to learn more about such a man in such an interesting way. Only wish it had been longer.

Also, I never knew that his grave was a mystery? :confused: you learn something new!. . .

Really enjoyed it! Learnt lots of stuff that i didn't know about him!
