Bought anything from QVC ? I haven't so far but i enjoy watching it.

I did get a chance to visit their headquarters last year, massive place, first thing you see is a line up of UPs trucks going in and out, the tour was a bit dissapointing, at the end they take you into the QVC shop, very tiny unkept place to say the least, didn't buy a thing.

Never bought anything myself but my parents use to sit and watch it avidly and end up buying stuff that they never ended up using! :loopy:

Usually this was my Dad, who like most men was lured by the words HANDY GADGET or USEFUL TOOL, that was that, he was sold!

I have no idea why on earth he needed a work bench with useful attachments, he never used it but like he use to say 'Well you never know!'

We bought a yogurt maker from QVC and they sent two instead of the one ordered, so our friends now have have a useless piece of machinery as well as the one we bought.

We then tried to buy another useful (I know I know, it's a man thing) tool and that never arrived, however they did send two pairs of sunglasses that should have cost almost £20 more, so all told QVC are good provided you don't mind what you recieve :P

I've bought lots of stuff, camcorder, fire-wire card, jewellry and other bits and bobs. I have always been really happy with the stuff and not had any problems. I haven't used them for ages though, managed to wean myself away .... lol, I think tv-shopping can get a bit addictive :D

In my early twenties, I developed a bit of a QVC late night obsession; three or four times I ordered the 'Today's Special Value' item after going to the pub, only to have no recollection of placing an order. Still, the glowing paperweight that played ocean noises made a great gift for my gran...

Don't feel bad, Kristian. I was watching a show last night about addictions, and one woman had a shopping compulsion. Guess where she did ALL her shopping? Yup, QVC. She said she just couldn't help herself. The TV was right there. I think it's just too easy.

Poppins, I bought a set of All-Clad cookware last year. Got a good price on them, and didn't have a bit of trouble. The pans are wonderful.

When my daughter was small, she loved to sit and watch QVC before bed. Didn't matter what they were selling, she'd watch. Of course now, she loves to shop. I wonder if there's a connection?

I went through a stage of watching Bid-Up TV :( I had to stop myself buying rubbish. There sales techniques are so obvious, yet so irresistable, lol

I almost bought a juicer from one of the shopping channels a few months back. I think it may have been Price Drop tv. I didn't get it in the end though as I thought it was too good to be true.

QVC no quibble 30 day return, but be wary of postal charges.
