hello, basically students have created mortage applications using vb.net, and what we have been asked to do next is to identify a suitable range of criteria to measure each application? any ideas as to what im meant to write for that, its meant to be about 500/1000 words on "...suitable criteria..."!! be grateful for any help!
Now, are you talking about the applications software or the Mortgage Applications?
I was involved in writing Mortgage Application software a few years back and there are all sorts of criteria for measuring the suitability of each application for a mortgage.
Things like credit worthiness, age and type of property, value of property, joint or sole applicant, does the applicant have other loans / mortagegs?

why not try some online mortgage application things. See what sort of questions they ask.
I did think initially that you were asking how to measure the application (the program) itself rather than the application (for the mortgage).

hey ppz! sorry i didnt get bak soon, found out it was basically using sumthin like the Heuristic evaluation (its a checklist) on the applications created themselves, checking off stuff like wether color is appropriate, does the prototype have keyboard shortcuts, are response times appropriate to the users cognitive response time etc!! thanks anyway!
