whats kilvington road like at woodthorpe s13, friend of mine is going to rent an house there and would like opinions of that area, it seems to be on the border with intake ?. any vandal or drug problems noisey neighbours etc.

We live just off it, and it's the quietest area I've ever lived in around Sheffield (mind you, was always in student areas before :hihi: )

Seriously, I can't remember the last time there was any trouble around here.

I've got a few friends who live in the area and so have often wandered around the place. I can't say I've ever found it threatening or oppressive. I would imagine that quite a few of the houses are owner occupied and I can't recollect seeing any council properties boarded up for months on end.
The grass aree's nearby are a place where youths can be seen riding motorbikes and very occassionally burning out the odd car, however as the road network is fairly extensive you don't have to walk across thjese grassed area's. The area is on well established regular bus routes and the age range in the area is very varied. Say hello to Leo the Akita if you should meet him he's great.
