Wanna combine the 2?

Well here is your chance all I am asking for is someone from this forum to call me between 2pm and 4pm THIS or any other FRIDAY on 0114 2814092. Also if you want a request played for yourselves at least a days notice via a pm to me from clicking on my name and I will sort that out for you.

Wow SheffieldLive, I checked out your web site. You have a forum?! Not many postings though. Sorry I didn't stay long enough to leave a posting as a guest.
I can't call you on a Friday as I'm at work during those times. Play me some Bowie though if you remember.

Well the staion it self plays loads of different music and has different shows. My show is called 'The Mix' and I play both old and new stuff.

Any particular David Bowie song?

Gee thanks Steve for the chance to get a request played on your
radio station.
You say you like a wide range of music so here goes:
For my mum please play anything by Max "singalong "Bygraves
preferably something from his earlier album -Pink Toothbrush or
Cockney Cavalcade.
For my sister a slight change of mood and bringing us very much into today's music - Cliff "Christian and Proud of it"Richard..
Hello Sam Goodbye Samantha.
Finally back into those frumpy Fifties and the singer with a chuckle in her throat Alma Cogan singing Sugar in the Morning..
think these hot numbers should have your programme really
swingin' and the audience tapping their toes in appreciation.
Happy spinnin'

OK I will see what I can do for you 2, I dont usually play 50's material but leave it to me. The Cliff Richard choice is a wise one as a friend of mine also like him. Chemical Brothers....not bad I remember one of their hits called Hey Boy, Hey Girl. I usually do the requests between the hour of 3 and 4, so hopefully I'll get all of these played.

Hey SheffieldLive, I love anything from ChangesOneBowie
especially Space Oddity and Jean Genie.
I won't get to hear it either but I'm sure there's a lot of fans out there.

Any rock music will do for me! If you mention the Classic Rock Bar then I'll be really pleased.

If you mention that we are running an air guitar competition on Thursday next week and it's free to enter, that would be cool too!

Cheers!

Even if no-one calls in, just do a "A big shout out to the listeners from SheffieldForum.co.uk" - that's the kind of thing EZ did (when he was on Sheffield Live).

That Will Young crucified that song IMO.

Lets be fair.... Nobody could sing 'Light my Fire' as good as the Doors. But I think he did a decent job of making it his own.

On another note on the way in to work tonight on radio 2 was a folk song being played which was by the one and only Tony Capstick.
Nice to see radio2 doing there bit as a tribute to our lad.
