Does anybody know of a UK site that contains a good range of good quality PS3 game reviews?

I know of the obvious sources (like Eurogamer) but the reviews are either sparse or appear to been written by a 12 year old.

gamefaqs.com (http://www.gamefaqs.com) is good for reviews, just a shame their forums are run by morons, and full of stupid 14 year old Americans who think it's cool to bait/troll/post off topic drivel, and generally do things that would get most people banned for life from here or any other sensibly modded forum.

Gamespot UK is good.

IGN's crap, cos you have to subscribe to IGN Insider to get access to anything worth looking at, which works out about £7 a month iirc.

IGN.com has loads of PS3 reviews, i use it for 360 reviews/previews and it's free if all you want are reviews/previews and news. They do seem to have a worrying trend of giving high reviews to a franchise base don the franchise/developer though

GameFAQS.com is fantastic as, providing you can sift though the fanboyism, the reviews are all written by owners/real people so you get a more down to earth view. I tend to read a couple of the highest rated reviews and then read the lowest rated reviews. you can generally see through the fanboyism this way and get a clearer impression on the game!

gamespot and ign tend to be biast half the time ie gamespot fired someone for giving a game a bad review because the people who made the game were paying them loads of money in advertising

I'd say your best bet is gamerankings.com, taking an average of all reviews into one overalll score, whilst still providing links to all reviews. Bias tends to even itself out in that case.

No you don't. IGN is by far the best site for reviews etc.

Metacritic is worth a look, it gives a score based on various reviews and has user reviews also.

Metacritic PS3 Section (http://www.metacritic.com/games/ps3/)
