Hey, everyone. So I found out about this site thanks to my friend (Sketty24). I live in New York (Long Island to be more specific) but was lucky enough to get to go to England for two weeks! Of course I stayed in the awesomeness that is Sheffield and am missing it big time now! Everyone there is so much nicer and much more friendlier than they are in the city here.

I have to say I've never seen so many sheep, fields and hills in my life! My friend got a kick out of my ears popping when we'd go up somewhere like Bradfield, but I'm used to just a bunch of flat land here! I got to go to places like Meadowhall, Wok Mania (we so need that place here), High Bradfield, Low Bradfield where we got attacked by ducks! And a bunch of other places. I hope to be coming back next year! :D

Hello! Oh, your poor New York eardrums can't handle our hills. :hihi:

And then they were popping when I got back home! It sooo reminded me of Peter Kay...my dad had no clue why I was laughing about the fact that my ears kept popping.

Hello and welcome to the forum .

You were lucky it was only ducks that attacked you, some of the sheep around these parts can get a bit pushy too :hihi::hihi:.

Welcome to SF, have fun!

Glad you enjoyed us. Next time, get Sketty to take you to see the Surprise ... that'll really make your ears (and your eyes) pop. And tell us when you're coming over next and we'll organise a pub meet, specially for you :)

like these ones, mort?

Mort: I wanted to pet some sheepy reaaaaaallly bad when I was there! The amount of times I squealed over them, I believe I scared a few :)

Rubydazzler: Yay for pub meet ups! :D

Agent Orange: Aww, I hope you can come back here soon! At least you'll be used to our weather now :hihi:

Melthebell: We went up pretty far, well...pretty far for me :P

Cressida: I like it a lot already and thanks! :D

Poppins: I live in Suffolk County, but that's not too far away from me. I love it there :D
