I've a Tamrac Cyberpack 8 Backpack (5258 ) to let go for £65. It is in mint condition as I only used it to store my camera and accessories. PM me if interested. (photo can be provided through email).
I have a Tamrac Adventure 9. Not selling it but I would recommend you go have a look at one. I would imagine it would hold all that stuff, but I'm not with Canon so don't really know how big those lenses are.

ImpInaBox 30-07-2008, 07:19 I've been carting my kit around in a Tamrac Adventure something - possibly the 9. It's great for walks and expeditions but can't hold everything and isn't very accessible for weddings and fixed location shoots. I settled on a Lowepro Stealth 550 in the end - holds everything but the kitchen sink and all easy to get at too. Mind you I wouldn't want to carry it up Sca Fell! If you're set on another rucksack have you looked at the bigger Tamrac Adventure (http://www.tamrac-online.co.uk/lst150.htm) bags? Or, as meehailam suggests, the Cyberpack (http://www.tamrac-online.co.uk/prd17083cyb8.htm)? (More room for camera stuff but less for butties!)
evildrneil 30-07-2008, 07:24 I take it this will be too small?
http://www.bristolcameras.co.uk/p-tamrac-5371-travel-pack-71.htm
I recently bught a LowePro FastPack 350 from Harrisons in which I can fit a 5D + Battery Grip, 24-70mm f2.8, 16-35mm f2.8, a 550EX Flash, a 580EX Flash 4 stofen diffussers, a lens baby, a 35mm f2, a large blower for cleaning camera/lens and the bulky Canon extension cord for the flashguns - and that is in just the bottom section.
In the top section goes my ring flash, my 70-200 f2.8, card reader, 3 hard drives, battery chargers with a little room to spare. Laptop and cables fit in laptop compartment and batteries fit in pouch on back with a few other bits and pieces in the other top pocket.
That's a lot of weight in a very small package. I did something to my shoulder just after first using this bag, but not sure if it was the bag or carrying/moving other very heavy bags when working on location recently. My luggage weighed the same as I did.
My Think Tank Airport Addicted is a slightly bigger, far more comfortable bag and can carry huge amounts of kit, but is a lot more expensive, but well worth it.
I bought the Expedition 7 - takes all the kit and a laptop.
evildrneil 30-07-2008, 10:41 I've just seen crumpler do some nice ones - and they have the advantage of not looking like camera bags so you have less chance of you expensive camera gear being targetted and nicked!

I like the Crumplers. I have a PrettyBoy, besides the name I don't think I'd change anything about it. Would be too small for the gear listed in 1st post though.

I've been looking at one of those as I've just bought my first accessory for my first DSLR and suddenly a camera case is no longer big enough! I like the fact that they look pretty robust and don't immediately scream "I contain expensive photographic stuff - steal me!". I'll take your comment as a recomendation and go with one of them then ;)
Recommendation indeed, I have the XXL version I think (or is it the XL?!). I'll check later.
I have one that I don't use that needs a home... it's either the L or XL (will try to remember to check tonight!) in the olive green material they do.
evildrneil 02-08-2008, 22:13 I've ordered up an XXL one in red which should arrive soon :) The reviews all said that they were smaller than you expected so I deciced to go for one that I'll grow into! £35 for camera bag of any type isn't bag going :)
evildrneil 05-08-2008, 10:23 I now have my shiny new bag (YAY!) however if anyone is thinking of getting a crumpler pretty boy be vary wary of the sizes and claims! I got the XXL version which is claimed to carry a camera + three lenses + extras and it is currently comfortably fitting a sony alpha + 28-70 lens and a flashgun with not a huge amount of space left. By juggling I could get another lens in but another two I seriously doubt :o
Ooo another Alpha user
Think that means 3 of us here... if you want them I may have a couple of unused lenses knocking about?
What you say about the bag sizing is spot on, I went for an XL first off. Could fit camera+grip+flash that was it.
paul28uk 07-08-2008, 22:08 I finally got a Digital SLR yesterday after umming and ahhing about getting back into it. Settle on the Tamarac 7 but when it arrived I was like, this is never going to fit even the body with a lens! (EOS40D, 17-85mm USM IS). Anyways it did, just about but i have sent it back.
I bought a Crumpler, Crumpler Match Maker and it reckons it's going to be fine to fit 1 body, 6 lenses and a laptop, so realistically the camera and lens i have now, with view to getting another 2 I should be ok. We shall see!
Thanks for the advice, in the end i went for a Tamrac Adventure 9. Cost £59.99 and its perfect for what i need.
