why is the private messageing not working ??? and when will it be back up

Messaging that doesn't require e-mails is working - I've been getting ad sending PMs all weekend.

However.......

PMs work PROVIDED THAT the person you are messaging does NOT have their options set so that an e-mail is sent to them whenever they receive a PM. If you have this option selected, then in the short term you could turn it off so that people can PM you.

On Friday Geoff pointed out that the system would be up and running by Monday, and there's no reason to suggest that this won't be the case.

And, given the fact that moving a system from one server to another is just about the most complex thing you can with with a website, we've done bloody well to only have a very short period of downtime on Friday.
