I bought a pretty big and great paddling pool for the gruesome twosome a few weeks ago at Sainsbury, one of those large blue rectangular jobs with two inflatable levels. Great £7.50 a bargain.
In less than a week they had jumped on it and burst it, entirely rendering it useless.
I bought one with non inflatable bits, just pop up pool and I find they trample the sides down and let all the water out.
I need a twin proof pool which doesn't cost the earth.
Can anyone please recommend something for me. Or even one they will break but dirt cheap so I care less.

you need to get those kids trained Zebra ;)

speak to Lotti about clicker training :D

I've been led to believe that destructive behaviour is due to boredom or lack of excercise :suspect:

*puts sensible hat on*

how about they get to understand that destroying toys leaves them without?

or advertise for a builder to make you a permanent one

I got one from toys r us when my kids were little. It was round, and solid plastic. Was a bit of a b*gger to empty as you had to bucket it out, but was definitely kid, dog n cat proof :hihi:

hhhmmm just looked at their website n it seems they dont do them anymore. However, they've got some pools at £1.99 and £4.99 so they're cheap enough. HTH. :D

I assume a puncture repair kit isn't an option for the original pool then Zebra?

It went with a BANG rather than a subtle hiss :(

how about one of those sand pit things in the shape of a turtle (or the like) complete with the lid, can be used for water or sand and a rigid plastic will be just about indistructable

I like them but they are to small. We've got one as a sand pit and frankly I'm going to give it away, it's like a desert war in there. Twins and sand all over!

In regards to the pool situation Zebra, buy an old bath and sink it into the ground and then fill it up you can then pull the plug to drain (cause obviously you'd have set up underground drainage) lol

I got one form the early learning centre in the shape of an ice cream van. It was about £15 in the sale. It seems quite sturdy as the older ones jump all over it. It is a bit of a pain to blow up though (we use a pump which attachs to the car lighter).
