This is the message I rec'd from friend today. Barb has two rescued dogs and 16 rescued house cats, hence her plea. I know it's a long shot but here goes -
"Saw him walking away from the direction he lives towards the little beck at the back of the estate (sounds nice - it's a dump) and he was limping. Later when walking Saul, I saw him lying in 'rubbish' at the side of this beck and when I picked him up he had a wound which looked like a cat bite on his left fore-leg. He got really scared by Saul so I left him where he was. I contacted his 'owner' who said that she did not want him as their new dog didn't like him at all and chased him away from the house.
If you hear of anyone who would like a really lovely, cuddly 11 year old male PLEASE let me know because when I have somewhere for him I am going to acquire him he is obviously unwanted - coat matted around his behind, quite thin so he is obviously not getting regular food."
As I say I know this is a big ask but it's worth a try. Forumers never fail to amaze me. x
