Hello all,

I'm doing a project at work for my management development and need a little :help: .

Would you be interested in attending a Murder Mystery Party?

Would you buy services from a local company running/selling games either for indivuals to download and run at home, or as corporate entertainment?

Rather than the company bringing in actors to play the roles, you and the other guests would play the roles yourself and get actively involved (dressed up, props, accents the lot)?

Prices would probably start at £30 for downloadable games, £175 for hosted non corporate parties, and £375 for hosted corporate parties?

Any thoughts very welcome... Cheers ratbagtowers

I'd be very keen to be able to buy/download murder mysteries that can be played by Spice (i.e. a business). Most of sites have a rider that you can't use them to make a profit which we do want to do as a business. I'm willing to buy them & don't really want them hosted as it's more fun to get the members involved.

I love murder mystery parties and do them all the time, but i buy the kits from Cole Brothers (yes john lewis), they are a scream! you get place settings and scripts (that can be a bit corny and full of puns!). I'm sure you will do well with the corporate biz!

OOh, yes! They are great fun, at the last one I was a lounge singer with a taste for the orient!

Which mainly consisted of me wearing a black wig and a dressing gown :)

Sandra,

usually you can pay an extra £10 to £15 pound for a commercial lisence from the online companies which will allow you to use a game pack to make a profit. Drop me a line and I can point you in the direction of some companies that are happy to do this.

Hosting does not necessarily mean the members cannot get involved, the majority of companies provide actors in the main role when they host. When I host I am simply there to guide guests through the game and make sure it all runs ok. I also produce all the documentation posters and props. This means that everyone can get involved.

Cheers all for your feedback, presentation is tomorrow.
