Hi,
Does anybody know of any shops in Sheffield that sell second hand furniture or know the best place to get some?
Much appreciated.

Abbeydale Rd.
Not one shop but the whole street!
drove past one at the end of crooksmoor road at the traffic lights opposite the church............
Hi,
I think that OXFAM in Broomhill sell second hand furniture. Well, they used to anyhow and we were lucky enough to buy some fab retro lounge chairs there for a tenner! You do have to arrange your own transport to get the goods home though...
Hope that helps!

If you're on benefit mario, you might try contacting your local housing office. Sometimes they do deals with local charities such as Salvation Army to allow people to buy furniture at discount prices.
Good luck. :)
Yeah Oxfam in Broom Hill, St Luke's Hospice in Crookes and a couple of charity shops at the bottom of the Moor seem to be good bets. There's also REMAR UK, which is near Bramall Lane, who specialise in second hand furniture.
I think the way forward is Ebay.. I just bought a sofa bed in good condition for 1p. Obviously, make sure it's local though, so you can collect it rather than paying extortionate postage costs! (If you go to advanced search you can limit your search to a certain radius of your postcode)
Alladin's cave in Dinnington.
I know it's a long way out, but it really is the best place in south yorkshire for any second hand goods.
Eg - coffee table 4 pounds, grand piano 10 pounds, leather suite 100 pounds, acoustic guitar 3 pounds, CD rack 50p. I'm not kidding.
It opens 9 til 3.30 weekdays and 9-1 saturday.
I feel begrudged to advertise it on the web, in fact!
I got some second hand furnish for sale . link:

Those prices are awful expensive for second hand furniture, better off going to Ikea.
