I've lost one of the office pets. I just went to look at them and my favourite hermit crab has gone. :( when I think back, I remember me having him out crawling across my desk on Friday, but I can't remember putting him away :o:suspect: we have looked everywhere but can't find him. :confused: I'm going to go and look again! Wish me look please :(

aww hun I can feel for you! when I was alot younger my cousin looked after my snails and lost them... all

ooops. Wonder where he scuttled to. We nearly lost the cockatiel the other week - Arnie the naughty norwegian forest cat managed to tip hi cage over and both doors dropped down. Good thing we were in the house when it happened because had the barmy bengal been anywhere near, Pooh would've been toast...

Yeah, bins still empty from being emptied on Friday. We go through them all too to seperate paper/plastic and everything. :suspect: no crabs! I'm hoping the MD eaten it :o

Are you certain he hasn't buried himself in the substrate to shed? If the substrate isn't deep enough for him to do that it might explain why he was desperate to go walkies!

That was my first thought but you can usually see where they have dug down. They leave little mounds. I think I aided him on his walkies by taking him out of the tank. :(

EDIT TO ADD: Found it found it found it! Yay! Twiglet was right. It has somehow managed to dig and hide under the big water dish. We just took it out to change it and there he was! I don't understand how he has managed to do it without disturbing the sand. So it is still a mystery.

You know which one it is Moon? The one with the dark shell, :( Ozzy hasn't been in luckily so no, no crabby inside Ozzy. :)
