I just picked up a Panasonic DL30e SLR and am now in search of a decent camera strap for it.

The one's I've seen online look flimsy, and the Sheffield Photographic centre on eccy road hasnt got anything (not to mention the guy who owns it/works there is about as helpful as non-stick cello-tape).
Its the sort of thing people might have collecting dust in a drawer somewhere so I'd gladly cough up some dollar for one!

I would have recommended Haslam (Haslem?) Green near the Workstation, but I think they've since closed.

I refused to join the digital revolution, but then realised how much time I didn't have to get things processed, and digital won out. I still have my bronica and it's awesome, but the 5D is much more convenient (but no less heavy).

Try Jacobs, just off the Moor, or Harrisson Cameras on London Rd.

Lots of Straps on OpTech online site :

I always use the Pro Loop Strap (http://www.optech-online.co.uk/prdprostrapbllp.htm) - my heavy camera suddenly becomes as light as a feather :)
