Preparations for "Fright Night", Britain's largest Halloween party, are already underway in Sheffield City Centre. "Fright Night" returns for a third outing this October 31st. This monster party celebrating things that go bump in the night has grown to be one of the highlights of the City Centre's event calendar. It has also proved frighteningly successful, attracting crowds of more than 16,000 revellers into the City Centre last year. A figure almost double that of the very first Fright Night event in 2001. An even bigger turnout is expected this year.

Fright Night will take place at even more locations across the City Centre, focused around the Gothic Town Hall, on Fargate, Peace Gardens and Surrey St. This year for the first time the event will be spreading onto The Moor. There will be spooky goings on from 6.30 – 9.00pm on Friday 31 October.
