Anyone remember the name of the club which I and many others used to visit over 40 years ago. Dave Berry, Joe Cocker and others often played there. I seem to remember it was up stairs and that there was a gallery of some sort where you could look down onto the stage.

I thought this club was the Esquire too. I went there on my first ever date (married the guy!). Remember going up the stairs and seeing photos of Joe Cocker. There was a skeleton suspended from the ceiling (I think) and it wore a trilby hat and one wellington boot. We sat on old tram seats around the dance floor.
Those were the days...
